The pop-up cinema specialists are bringing The Conjuring, Poltergeist and Ghostbusters to the cave
This Halloween The Village Screen are heading back to one of their favourite old haunts, the Peak Cavern cave for a series of fun and spooky horrors including The Conjuring, Poltergeist and Ghostbusters.
On Friday 25 October the Peak Cavern, or ‘Devil’s Arse’ cave will be transformed into a poltergeist’s paradise as they screen the terrifying paranormal horror, The Conjuring. Then on Saturday 26 October, the cave will host the classic 1982 supernatural horror, and Steven Spielberg’s paranormal masterpiece, Poltergeist.
Finally, Proton packs at the ready as they screen 80’s classic hit Ghostbusters, on Sunday 27 October.
In addition to the films, there will also be the opportunity to sample some of the best local grub as The Village Screen transform the Peak Cavern car park into a street food delight. There will also be fantastic music from a live band, and pop-up bars serving a selection of refreshing drinks, including craft beers, wines, prosecco, soft & hot drinks, and themed cocktails throughout the evening.
The Village Screen have been popping up in unique venues for over 4 years and are well established at delivering fun, quirky and unforgettable events across Sheffield, Manchester, the Peak District and Milton Keynes. This is their third year at the Peak Cavern which audiences have described to date as a “truly amazing experience” with the atmosphere being “phenomenal.”

Adult tickets (16+) are priced at £17.50. Concession tickets (Student/Child/Senior 60+) are priced at £15.50. Friday 25th October: The Conjuring – Doors open at 18:30, film at 20:30. This film is rated 15. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Saturday 26th October: Poltergeist – Doors open at 17:30, film at 19:30. This film is rated 15. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Sunday 27th October: Ghostbusters – Doors open at 17:30, film at 19:30. Age Restriction: This film is classified PG. This event is suitable for the whole family however we do recommend a minimum age of 8. Any children attending under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult
