Style Sheffield returns to the Steel CityPosted by: Liv Corp
The events are taking place in the city centre next month
It’s back! Style Sheffield returns to showcase the city's style with big brand collaborations in the city centre.
The first of two free events takes place on 17 May, and focuses on beauty. During the event, there will be four tutorials showcasing looks for brides and their bridal parties - just in time for wedding season this summer. Beauty fans can expect to see brands such as GHD, Liz Earle and Bobbi Brown being showcased.
The second event, which is being dubbed as Sheffield answer to Fashion Week takes place on 24 May. Working alongside the cities independent vintage shops and big name high street brands like Mooch Vintage and John Lewis, guests can expect to see these brands showcasing their catwalk looks on the runway.
There will also be an option for guests to browse these styles at the Style Sheffield market, there will be some exclusive pieces and in some cases some of the clothing on offer will be at a discounted rate.
For those looking to re-vamp their wardrobe on a budget, there is the Style Sheffield fashion exchange, which allows guests to browse the donated rails, if they donate some of their unwanted clothes. Anything that is left after the exchange will be donated to Cathedral Archer Project.
Diane Jarvis, Sheffield BID manager, said: “Style Sheffield will feature the city centre’s fantastic range of independent stores and national chains, and promote Sheffield city centre as a destination for style and fashion."
