Sheffield locals to name Tramlines stagePosted by: Jess Morris
The festival has asked Sheffielders to name the second stage at this year's festival
Tramlines Festival has launched a competition to win four VIP upgrades and £100 bar tab to spend at the festival - all you have to do, is suggest a name for the second stage!
For the first time in the history of Tramlines, the festival has invited the public to name the new stage at new venue Hillsborough Park.
To be entered into the prize draw, suggestions for the name of the new second stage must be submitted by commenting on this video on the festival's Facebook page. Tramlines will then shortlist their favourites and put them out for a public vote to choose the winner.
The new site includes four new stages, with one hosted by Sheffield’s iconic local venue, The Leadmill and curated ‘The Reverend’ Jon McClure on the Sunday. A Library Stage has been introduced offering contemporary live performances from a variety of emerging talent, and a bigger than ever Into the Trees area with a wealth of kids and family friendly entertainment on throughout the day.
Tickets for the 10th edition of the festival, taking place from the 20 - 22 July, are selling faster than ever.
