Moscow City Ballet make their return to Sheffield this week

Renowned dance company, Moscow City Ballet, returns to the Lyceum tomorrow (Tuesday 8 January) with a spectacular production of the classic fairy-tale The Sleeping Beauty.


The enchanting fairy-tale of The Sleeping Beauty is notorious for inspiring Russian composer Tchaikovsky to write some of his most celebrated music, and the ballet has captivated the imaginations of people for well over a century.


Featuring the delicate Princess Aurora, her gallant Prince, the beautiful Lilac Fairy and a host of fairy-tale characters, this production showcases the exquisite and lyrical talents from Moscow City Ballet.


The production boasts a classic Russian style with full orchestra, featuring the country’s best dancers, breath-taking choreography and stunning costumes and a live orchestra, and has received rave reviews from its productions around the globe.
