A ‘Live Arts Experience’ in aid of Museums Sheffield is heading to DINA Venue in April
Blank Canvas Events are bringing The Arts Groove, a live art experience, to DINA on 6 April, hoping to raise £3000 for Museums Sheffield.
The evening will include a range of mini workshops, allowing attendees to create their own masterpieces, an exhibition space dedicated to promoting local artists, a high value prize raffle, including prints from local artist Joe Scarborough, and mini competitions throughout the evening.
On arrival, guests will be given an apron, which they can personalize before activities start, followed by a range of short art workshops, including collage, gelli printing and free flow acrylics, as well as a disco and lo-fi DJ set from upcoming producer, Frvnks.
All of this is set against the backdrop of DINA Venue, on Cambridge Street, with a licensed bar and the opportunity to socialise and meet new people, while helping raise money for Museums Sheffield.
Museums Sheffield provide free cultural activities to all across their three sites Millennium galleries, Graves Gallery and Weston Park, catering for over 1 million visitors and helping 16,000 school children each year, enabling them to discover the cities collections and let their imaginations soar.

The vital support from such fundraising events and donations allow Museums Sheffield to keep their doors open and free for all to enjoy whatever age or background.
