Everly Pregnant Brothers to play Sheffield working men’s clubPosted by: Ashley Birch
Everyone’s favourite ukulele pop-covers band have announced a show at Woodseats WMC
Sheffield favourites the Everly Pregnant Brothers, famed for songs such as ‘No Oven, No Pie’, ‘Hendo’s’ and ‘Chip Pan’, have announced a Tramlines warm up at Woodseats WMC on Friday 28 June.
Support on the night comes from another bunch of brothers, The Redemption Brothers and tickets are priced at £15 (plus booking fee).
According to the bands Facebook page, over two thirds of tickets have already been sold, so, in the words of the Brothers, ‘if you were thinking of buying some - don't hang about!!’
Tickets are available through Eventbrite here.
The band, made up of ‘Big Shaun’ Doane, artist Pete McKee and his son Charlie, Toby Foster and friends, are celebrating ten years of larking about writing parody songs about Sheffield life, set to the tune of radio hits, and earlier this year, we caught up with Shaun to find out what they’d got in store for the landmark year.
