Driving Thru for Christmas

Posted by: Richard Abbey

The Village Screen are bringing festive cheer to Sheffield this December with a series of seasonal films.

Expect magical Christmas films, Christmas music and festive food and drinks, all delivered to your car!

After the huge success of their sold-out Drive Thru Cinema experiences this summer, they are now bringing the ultimate seasonal cinematic line up to the beautiful outdoor grounds of Gulliver’s Valley, nestled in Rother Valley between Sheffield and Rotherham, this Christmas.

These events will feel intimate and special, with the wooded grounds at Gulliver’s Valley providing the perfect winter wonderland setting for a memorable, festive treat to enjoy with your bubble.

There will be a brand-new street food offer this Christmas from Sheffield’s fantastic catering specialists, PJ Taste, as well as the perfect wintery drinks menu delivered to your vehicle, including hot chocolates, mulled wine and much, much more.

The Village Screen team have been delivering sell out, quirky cinematic events for the people of the North and across the UK for the past five years. Their Drive Thru Cinema events are just as original, with each car being given its own, sanitised, speaker system and films being projected onto a huge, 24ft inflatable screen. The festive line-up is as follows:

Thursday 17 December – National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation: doors at 18.40, film at 20.00

Friday 18 December – It’s a Wonderful Life: doors at 18.40, film at 20.00
