From 1 – 8 June Style Sheffield will deliver a week of fashion for the city

VIP shopping, demonstrations and fashion shows are set to take over the city for Style Sheffield, the latest event from the Sheffield BID’s Alive After Five campaign, from 1 – 8 June.

Both independents and high-street brands will take part in the week, which is the first of its kind in the city. Six headline early-evening events will be supported by several fringe activities.

Style Sheffield kicks off on 1 June with Enter the Vault hosted by HSBC Bank and features some of Sheffield’s best known diamond experts and jewellers. On the same evening The Hat Stand, a pop-up milliners in the Winter Garden, will be holding a launch party.

For the rest of the week, Sheffield’s fashionistas will have the opportunity to attend an independent designer showcase with a one-of-a-kind sample sale, a vintage fashion through the ages event, a beauty night with tutorial makeovers and a styling night with personal advice from the experts.

Sheffield Cathedral will host to the grand-finale catwalk show on 8 June, featuring pieces from high-street retailers including Debenhams, Burton, M&S, Primark and Dorothy Perkins will deliver an inspirational summer fashion show.

Sheffield BID manager, Diane Jarvis said: “Sheffield city centre has a strong independent offer complemented by leading high-street brands. Style Sheffield provides a collaborative platform to showcase fashion in the community and the diversity of the retail offer.”

John Lewis, Boots, Green+Benz and Cow Sheffield are among the retailers involved in Style Sheffield. Venues such as Bloo 88, the Showroom Cinema, Piccolino, Street Food Chef and Cubana are also supporting the campaign. Orchard Square’s La Coupe Studio is the official hair stylist to the local models taking part in the shows. And KIKO Milano and Bare Minerals are providing makeup artists.

Entry to the main events is ticketed but tickets are free with the option to donate to charitable projects in Sheffield. For further details about Style Sheffield and how to book tickets go to
