Meadowhall has announced four local businesses are coming together to open the ‘first ever Yorkshire pop-up store at its shopping centre in Sheffield.’

Opening tomorrow, Thursday 21 November, ‘The Independent Yorkshire Shop’ will be showcasing the very best products from each business, from small-batch distilled gins to locally crafted ales, bespoke handmade candles and hand-crafted stainless steel jewellery.

Bailey of Sheffield bracelets will be available

Scott Bailey, Founder of Bailey of Sheffield, said: “We are so excited and proud to be working alongside these amazing three local businesses. It’s such a perfect fit to be sharing the pop-up store with these companies who all have the same ethos of producing and championing locally made premium products. Being selected to represent our home Yorkshire region all within one shop based at Meadowhall is truly an honour.”

Darren Pearce, Centre Director at Meadowhall, added: “We’re delighted to open the UK’s first Yorkshire pop-up store at Meadowhall. As one of the region’s leading attractions, we place community at the heart of everything we do so it is great to see these fantastic local businesses coming together to showcase the very best our region has to offer. We’re very proud to be a part of it!”

The launch will take place on Thursday 21 November with the Lord Mayor of Sheffield Tony Downing attending, where he will officially cut the ribbon opening the store at 4.40pm. The store will be open throughout the Christmas period to Sunday 12 January.

Thornbridge beers to take home will be on offer in the pop-up Yorkshire shop

Meadowhall is open until 10pm throughout the week and has over 290 retailers and new brands on offer, including Newbie, Barbour International, Rituals and UGG, and over 50 places to eat and drink in its Oasis Dining Quarter including Wagamama and Five Guys. Meadowhall’s food and drink outlets are open until 10pm Monday to Saturday, and from 10am – 9pm on Sundays.
