Build 'your' Sheffield out of LegoPosted by: Ashley Birch
A competition has been launched asking Sheffielders to create a Lego structure that they think represents the Steel City
This is summer Sheffield is set to become Bricktropolis from 4 – 17 August, and organisers’ Sheffield BID are running a competition for you to get involved and show your creative side.
The Big Bricktropolis Build is challenging you to create a structure that that you think represents our fair city.
It can be big or small, it just has to be made out of Lego and take inspiration from the Steel City. Whether that to you means the sports teams, musicians, buildings, or even Hendo’s, just make sure you use your imagination and build something that stands out from the crowd.
To enter the competition, simply post a photo of your creation with your name and age on either Twitter or Instagram, and explain in no more than two sentences, why you think your creation describes/shows ‘your’ Sheffield. Don’t forget to use #MySheffieldBricktropolis to share your masterpieces.
