Veggie and vegan Peddler is backPosted by: Ashley Birch
VEG OUT returns to 92 Burton Road this month
Sheffield’s veggie and vegan street food market Veg Out is back on Saturday 23 March for the fifth instalment of the plant powered Peddler, held in 92 Burton Road.
Loads of new traders are rocking up this month, pumping out loads of veggie and vegan goodness from the likes of VIBE’s new-found favourite Döner Summer, Dim Sum SU Street Food, Vegan Vice and the award-winning Fresh Rootz.
As well as the grub they also have a cracking line-up of makers, brewers, movers and shakers spread throughout the warehouse, with vegan beers provided by Manchester based Track Brewing Co.
And there’s more, for the more adventurous among you there’s Bloody Mary Masterclasses on offer at £12 a pop.
The first four events, which included a takeover from London-based street food kings Kerb, have already been a huge success with over 5,000 people turning up to the inaugural event.
Organiser Heather Gilberthorpe said: “Our first Veg Out back in February was really popular - we had over 5,500 visitors in one day which blew us away. And because we're asking something a bit different from traders, they developed some really interesting and proper tasty plant-powered dishes.
“It’s just like Peddler. With a twist.”
VEG OUT returns from 2 – 11 pm on Saturday 23 March. Head over to the event’s Facebook page for more info and full trader listings.
