Veganuary returns to True North Brew Co in 2020
A month of belting vegan grub awaits at True North venues this January
After a boom year for vegan food in Sheffield, True North Brew Co venues is bringing back Veganuary to its eateries across South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. Throughout January 2020, participating venues will showcase the best of plant-based food with a wide selection of original vegan specials as part of a month-long celebration of plant-based diets.
Places like The Common Room and The Broadfield have become popular hotspots for foodies in search of great vegan food thanks to new menus and innovative plant-based recipes. Executive Head Chef, Andy Burns said: “Over the last few years, we’ve seen such a growing demand for vegan food and we’ve embraced the opportunity to get creative and show the vegan community what we can do.
“I’ve spent a lot of time alongside our venues’ chefs sourcing new ingredients and crafting exciting new dishes which show that vegan food doesn’t have to comprise on flavour. We’ve got award-winning vegan pies at The Broadfield, American comfort food and fried vegan chicken at The Common Room, and we’ve just introduced vegan fish at some of our sites using banana blossom.”
Veganuary at True North venues will run from 2nd – 31st January and is a perfect opportunity for anyone considering a vegan diet to see how far animal-friendly food has come. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and drinks, there’s a huge vegan range at True North.
