Restaurants, cafes and takeaways across the city have been reopening their doors for takeaway options this month.
Whilst it might be a while before we're all squeezed into our favourite micropub, or sitting down to enjoy a restaurant meal in the city, more and more local businesses are adapting and reopening to provide takeaway offerings. Here's a few we've spotted this month...
The speciality grocery story on Abbeydale Road has reopened for takeaway coffee and pastries, perfect for fuelling your work from home. The general grocery service continues in the annex. Find them on Facebook and Instagram for more information.
The beloved Division Street diner renowned for its fried chicken and waffles reopened on Wednesday 13th May. You can get your Lucky Fox fix via the Deliveroo app, or call and collect on 0114 278 0811. Keep an eye on their social media for the specific times and dates that you can order. The Chinese and Thai takeaway on London Road is beloved by vegetarians and vegans as well as meat eaters, for their extensive, delicious and affordable menu. They don't really have any social media presence, but a hand written sign on their door has alerted passers by that they reopened on Wednesday 13th May. Word quickly spread amongst the takeaway's fans. Check out the menu on their website here.
Nonna's, one of Sheffield's best loved Italian restaurants, returned via the City Grab app this week. Enjoy Italian favourites like fresh pasta carbonara to your doorstep. Find them on Facebook and Instagram for more information.
One of Sheffield's newest lunch options, Macpot already has quite a buzz around its delicious mac and cheese offering. You can find out more about Macpot by reading our feature on them here. Street Food Chef
Beloved for their Mexican street food, Street Food Chef recently celebrated their 10th birthday by reopening for takeaways. You can dig into burritos, tacos and more by ordering through the Street Food Chef app for click and collect, or through the City Grab app for delivery. Read more about their reopening on VIBE here. Jameson's Tea Room
The Abbeydale Road tea room have recently teamed up with the City Grab app to offer afternoon tea packages for delivery - there's a regular option, vegan option, and children's option. They request a minimum of 24hrs notice, so make sure you preorder by 12pm the day before. You can also order for collection by calling 0114 255 1159 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Gaard Coffee Hide
If you're based around Kelham Island, you can now get your coffee fix from Gaard. They are open 10am-3pm every day for takeaway only, and are also offering 30% off for NHS, police, military, blue light and teachers. Find them on Facebook and Instagram for more information.
