All I can say is sublime
Grazie is a family run restaurant that we’ve been to previously but only for a coffee and we always said we would return and I’m so glad we did.
We didn’t book so were pleased to see there were tables available but I would definitely recommend booking as it does get busy. On entering it was a lovely warm atmosphere, it just felt so homely and welcoming from the start. We were given a menu and I was pleasantly surprised just exactly what was on it, there was a wide selection and it did take me a while to choose as they all sounded delicious and we were really spoilt for choice.
The one that appealed the most was the Boscaiolo. When looking at the word Stracciatella in my dish on the menu. I googled it to find out it was in fact ice cream. I spoke to Pierpaolo who told us it is like a Burrata Cheese, he laughed and smiled when talking about ice cream as they both had the same meaning. I was just hoping I wouldn’t get ice cream with my pasta, now that wouldn’t have been a good combination!!!
The food was phenomenal, so so impressed. I was so full after my meal but as everything was spot on and seeing the words ‘Tiramasu’ on the dessert menu I couldn’t not try it. The homemade Italian dessert was an absolute winner and I even surprised myself that I managed it all but it was so tempting and too good to leave.
We opted for Limoncello to finish our meal off nicely and was told it would be on the house what a lovely gesture this was, so appreciative, thank you guys!!
They made our day so special and the service from Pierpaolo and Anna was second to none, the ability to make you feel comfortable and welcome must be in the Italians blood.
The Happy Birthday song was sung whilst in Grazie, I just loved that inclusivity how everybody joined in, making everybody feel so special especially the one who’s birthday it was.
Grazie, Ciao for now
