Over the years Rudding Park in Harrogate has gained an enviable reputation as one of the best hotels in the country. This year it is celebrating a decade within the top three Hotels in the UK as voted for in the TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards 2016.
A luxury hotel with a two AA rosette restaurant, spa, gym, cinema, conference and events venue, golf course and golf academy – it really does have something for everyone.
During this time of year guests can explore the Rudding Park Kitchen Garden, which provides an abundance of produce. Designed in partnership with renowned garden designer, Matthew Wilson, the acre garden includes 52 raised beds made from English oak trees from Rudding Park. More than 100 different herbs, salads, edible flowers and fruits are grown by Adrian Reeve, the kitchen gardener, allowing the chefs to create dishes packed full of flavour using quality heritage varieties that are usually hard to find.
A fantastic new addition to the garden is the Breeze House, which provides a wonderful setting for a small lunch, dinner or drinks party. Perfect if you are looking for something a little different for a summer celebration.
Guests can also pre-book a kitchen garden tour followed by afternoon tea in the Breeze House (available every Thursday afternoon throughout the summer) or choose the Plot to Plate experience which offers a tour of the garden followed by lunch at award-winning Clocktower Restaurant.
