Hearty, home cooked food
Nestled in the North Nottinghamshire countryside, the Blacksmith Arms is an idyllic country pub that welcomes all members of the family, including four-legged friends.
At the Blacksmith, it’s all about hearty, home cooked food in a cosy, comforting environment. Head chef Kai Fleetwood is highly experienced, preparing daily specials as well as lunchtime and evening a la carte menus. Whilst on Sundays, the pub is home to a carvery.
And everyone is welcome to eat, for £2, dogs can have their own Sunday dinner, or a plate of bacon and sausages.
The Blacksmith is home to a number of exciting events, in the summer they hosted Blackstock, a music festival with live bands, a BBQ and outside bar, 600 people attended the event, and the pub is planning another one for 2017.
During the festive season, the pub has a calendar of Christmas events. On Boxing Day, to mark Bawtry’s hunt, there will be a traditional event featuring a hog roast and morris dancers.
On New Year’s Eve the pub will be throwing a party with music until 2am, and to welcome in 2017, from 11am-2pm on Ney Year’s Day, a bucks fizz breakfast will be available.
Perfect for all the family, the Blacksmith Arms is a cosy, welcoming home from home, serving a delicious selection of traditional pub grub.
