Discover how Westbourne is helping improve the environment
Led by headmaster Mr John Hicks, Westbourne is the only co-educational independent school in Sheffield offering first class education to girls and boys from the age of three to 16.
It focuses on individualised learning, offering every child the opportunity to excel and to be the best that they can be. In addition, it offers a bespoke academic scholarship class which delivers some of the best teaching, learning and results for the brightest of girls and boys.
Entry into Westbourne School is not dependent on scholarship examinations as the school prides itself in being an academically non-selective school.
Westbourne is proud to announce its NEW ‘Forest School Provision’. The school has already made great headway towards its long-term goal of improving the social and emotional wellbeing of its children through increased access to outdoor learning. By utilising their whole leafy campus Westbourne has ensured that their forest school provision continues to grow, allowing more children to access new skills whilst developing teamwork, perseverance and resilience.
