Need a little space? A pioneering scheme just revealed by a Sheffield property business could be the answer.
In the face of the coronavirus crisis, Westside Property Services are making a remarkable deal available to those looking for rented housing this summer. Under the scheme, a limited number of houses currently let to groups of four or five are up for grabs – but to as little as two people. And the best part is, the rest of the house is theirs for free!
A spokesman for the firm behind the initiative, Westside Property Services, explains; “A typical shared house has four bedrooms and four people pay four lots of rent. Under our plan, the house is available to couples or groups of two paying only two people’s rent.
“The idea came to us after the coronavirus hit. Recent events have shown how important it is to have plenty of space. With two rooms spare, isolation becomes more bearable and it makes daily life a lot more comfortable.
Priority will be given to NHS staff looking for accommodation for the year, but the scheme is likely to be popular with students, as the houses covered by the offer are in prime locations such as Broomhill, Crookesmoor and other sought-after areas."
