We are currently seeking an Account/Credit Control Assistant to join our successful team.
RMC Media publish glossy lifestyle/business magazines and high quality cookbooks. Since 1986, we have grown from a small start-up into one of Yorkshire's leading media companies.
To assist financial accountant
Credit checking new customers
Maintaining customer records to include:
- Establishing key contact for invoice payments
- Credit checking new customers
- Obtaining e-mail addresses for debtor communication
- Posting payments received to the debtors accounts
- Creation of Sales Invoices
Establishing relationships with customers to include:
- Telephone calls to customers
- Assisting in resolving querie
- Negotiating payment plans
- Collecting payments via Credit Card terminal
Accounting/ Admin tasks:
- Banking of cheques
- Ordering stationery
- Maintenance of cash book
- Franking mail
- Credit control experience
- Good organisational skills required
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of SAGE accounts desirable but not essential
- Use of credit reference agencies
- Experience with spreadsheets required.
