Handcrafted birds to take centre stage at My Father’s Heart

The birds have been crafted in Sheffield by local artist Nick Hunter

Blue tits, woodcocks and wagtails, there will be a few special visitors lingering around My Father’s Heart’s showroom in Sheffield.

In the run up to Christmas, these special hand carved birds will be settling into their new home. Local artist Nick Hunter creates the birds in his private workshop outside of Sheffield, sitting above the quaint River Rivelin.

In this hub of creativity, Nick methodically crafts the birds with his unique artistry, with each character given an individual personality. Rather apt, then, that the birds will be taking flight and nestling in at My Father’s Heart – another hub of creativity that prides itself on its meticulous and individual design.

The collection of birds will be taking centre stage at My Father’s Heart throughout November and December. So whether you’re there for the Brocco on the Park and Le Bon Vin wine night, or carol singing with Sheffield High School, you may just have a pleasant surprise.
