It's the biggest fundraising event of the year for Sheffield youth homelessness charity Roundabout…and right now you can take part without even leaving home.
Every year, Roundabout holds a Sleep Out in a safe environment to raise funds and awareness of the charity. Participants brave the cold winter night by swapping their beds for sleeping bags and a cold hard floor in a warehouse to raise as much in sponsorship as possible to help Roundabout support young homeless people in South Yorkshire.

But with the whole country still on lockdown, the Roundabout team have come up with a safe and socially distant alternative - the Sleep In!
The Sleep In is part of the Roundabout A-Z Challenge, a list of 26 fun ways to support the charity through the COVID-19 pandemic.
“You could build your own den to sleep in overnight in your lounge, bedroom or even outside in your garden,” said Roundabout Chief Executive Ben Keegan. “The whole family can get involved and take part in a fun activity that really could make a massive difference to the lives of the many vulnerable young people we are supporting every day.
“This is a great weekend activity, providing fun entertainment in the safety of your own home but at the same time supporting homeless young people across South Yorkshire.
“It’s not possible to say yet whether the 2020 November Sleep Out will be able to go ahead as planned, but the Sleep In keeps the spirit of the event alive until we can all meet again.”
