Pauline and David Baldwin celebrating 21 years of Baldwin's in 2003
Brincliffe Hill’s iconic venue will shut its doors for the final time in 2018
Baldwin’s Omega, Sheffield’s iconic banqueting and luncheon venue, is to close next year after almost 40 years in business.
The venue has been sold by David and Pauline Baldwin, with planning permission for 40 new homes having already been granted for the site.
Rumours surrounding the venue’s closure have been circulating for some time, and only increased when the planning permission was granted. Now, the couple has announced that Baldwin’s doors will close for the final time in July 2018, with plenty of farewell events and parties planned before then.
Baldwin’s holds a special place in Westside’s history, and has been home to the annual Westside Restaurant Awards for many years.
