Young Chef competition

Need something to keep the kids entertained whilst they're at home?

If you have a budding Raymond Blanc or Angela Hartnett in the family the Pheasant at Harome want to know. 

 

 

They are looking for young chefs aged between eight and 12 years old to create their own recipe and send it along with a photo of their culinary creation. Entries will be accepted until 1 March 2021 and will then be judged by chef Peter Neville. 

The dishes will be judged on presentation, innovation and nutritional content. The lucky winner will then have the opportunity to work in the Pheasant kitchen alongside Peter and his team and prepare a three-course lunch for two chosen guests (this will have to be arranged when social distancing guidelines allow).

Entries should be emailed to reservations@thepheasanthotel.com or posted to Peter Neville, The Pheasant Hotel, Harome, North Yorkshire, YO62 5JG. If the hotel receives enough entries, they are aiming to produce a recipe booklet for people to purchase to raise funds for the Helmsley branch of the NSPCC - so get your young ones cooking!
