Ceramique Internationale are Leeds-based tile specialists, established over 45 years ago.
In this time, it has gone from strength to strength. In recent years, it has worked on some of the most prestigious developments in the region, as well as helping customers to create and complete their dream homes.
The business has its stunning 4,500 sq ft Tiles and Mosaics showroom and warehouse on Royds Lane, Leeds, where homeowners and project managers alike can browse thousands of collections, including fully grouted tile displays, and take advice from expert staff. The warehouse holds well over 100,000 square metres of tiles in stock at any one time, comprising the very latest fashions in floor and wall tiles, mosaics and associated products.
Ceramique Internationale, which has been owned and run for the past 25 years by childhood friends Cameron Fraser and Peter Vann, also distributes wholesale products to hundreds of secondary retailers across the North and Midlands, as well as working on high-profile commercial projects across the UK.
These include a range of prestigious hotels and spas including Rudding Park, Low Wood and Formby Hall, plus the new Headingley stadium and exclusive housing developments in York and Knaresborough.
Most recently the business secured contracts on the refurbishment of four of the most high-profile buildings in Leeds city centre - the revamp of Leeds railway station; supplying stunning focal flooring features for the new Channel 4 headquarters in The Majestic and the refurbishments of the iconic, glass-fronted 1 City Square and Sovereign House on Sovereign Street.Director Cameron Fraser said: “Our business ethos has three cornerstones - reliability, value and knowledge. We work with the very best tile manufacturers in Europe – the majority in Italy - so innovative quality products, backed up by outstanding customer service and the knowledge of a long-standing workforce is a formula for success.
“As well as the wholesale and retail sides of the business we work extensively with designers, architects and developers on a wide range of diverse projects.
“Clearly 2020 is not panning out as any of us had hoped and COVID-19 has changed everything for every business, industry and individual. As a nation, as an industry and as a business, we will come through it and when we do, we will be ready to hit the ground running. We are continuing to take and place orders and provide advice and recommendations to both commercial and domestic customers.”
