Alexander's are summer ready, are you?
With its award winning high street and market and stunning medieval church, castle woods and canal-side walks, Skipton has already got a lot going for it. Sprinkle in a little Alexander’s Gin & Jazz and a Tropical White Party and Skipton is all set to become the north’s hottest ticket this summer.
Nestled at the head of its historic high street, Alexander’s enjoys a stunning location overlooking the awe inspiring Parish Church and Leeds Liverpool canal. Already renowned for its elegant, expansive interior and exterior spaces, award winning all-day dining and monthly Gin & Jazz evenings – starring some of the most sought after artists on the circuit – Alexander’s is proving itself to be much more than a Bar & Kitchen.
Alexander’s will also once again be hosting its now legendary Tropical White Party on Friday July 26.
“Last year’s White Party was unbelievable,” says Susannah Daley, owner of Alexander’s. “It was everything you would expect from a stylish summer event. We had stilt walkers meeting and greeting guests, a three course gourmet BBQ throughout our fabulous, heated garden terraces, top international DJ, Luke Pompey and live tenor saxophonist – who are returning this year, and even fire dancers at dusk. The white dress code set against all the Alexander’s tropical party styling was just mesmerising, conjuring up images of a cool, classy Ibiza beach club.”
For those tempted by Alexander’s charms, but unable to attend the above events, its all-day dining summer menus still offer something very special – as its Big Green Egg BBQ once again takes up residence on the garden terrace from May.
