The Westside Restaurant and Bar Awards were a great success and we've got out winners here's who was in the running

The biggest culinary event of the year in Sheffield and North Derbyshire is here, and we will soon be finding out who is taking the honours at this year’s Westside Restaurant Awards.


The glittering prizes will be presented at Baldwins Omega on the evening of Monday 4 June.


Our annual awards dinner is a highlight of the calendar for everyone in the restaurant business and is part of our commitment to helping you find the best.


For chefs and restaurateurs across the region, being singled out for praise in the Westside Awards is a sure sign that they are hitting all the right culinary notes.


Westside Readers’ Choice: Thanks to all the readers who have voted for their favourite restaurants. We have had a record number of votes from across the board and nominations are still coming in; so far it’s too close to call and we will announce the winner at the Westside Restaurant Awards.


Westside Restaurant of the Year 2018: A shortlist of three restaurants has been singled out as worthy of consideration for our main award. After the final round of dining out, it’s time for the judges to gather in a huddle and deliver their verdict. All will be revealed on the night…


Meanwhile, our judges are now doing their final assessments of the region’s finest restaurants, and are about to make their decisions in the various categories before the winners are announced on the night.
