Sheffield Cathedral is teaming up with award-winning artistic collaboration Luxmuralis once more, to bring another eight days of incredible illuminations to Sheffield.

Fresh from the success of The Angels are Coming, from 13 – 20 March, the interior of Sheffield Cathedral will be transformed again. Visitors will be wowed as they wander through the Cathedral on a walking journey through space which will reveal the universe, galaxies and meteor showers.

This show is called The Observatory and we have 16 complimentary family tickets (two adults, two under-12s) for a date and time slot of the winner’s choice.

The Very Reverend Peter Bradley, DL The Dean of Sheffield said: “It was a big decision for the Cathedral to commit to The Angels are Coming… but we’re so glad we did. The response from the people of Sheffield and further afield was incredible. “More than 11,500 people visited our Cathedral, many of whom had not been in the Cathedral before. It was wonderful to see so many families here.

“Nearly 90per cent of visitors rated their experience of The Angels are Coming… as “good” or “very good”, the majority rating it as “very good”. So we are thrilled to be working with Peter Walker and the Luxmuralis team again for The Observatory. I’m looking forward to welcoming everyone to our Cathedral, friends, families, visitors old and new, to experience the extraordinary wonder of this place.”
