Sir Norman Adsetts OBE, a man synonymous with Sheffield industry, is set to launch his debut book at the Studio theatre in Sheffield.
A Man of Sheffield traces the family history of Norman Adsetts, who began his career by selling ice cream in the 1950s. The Adsetts’ family business eventually became the largest supplier of insulation in Europe, with Norman playing a huge part in the regeneration of Sheffield, the public and private sectors coming together and refining Sheffield culture.
As part of the launch, Norman will be in conversation with Lord Bob Kerslake who will be asking others to share their experiences during the event.
