Whether it be for the races or a wedding, Sheffield's Hat Stand has a summer hat for you

On 1 June, The Hat Stand, Sheffield’s only dedicated pop-up hat shop will return to the Winter Garden.

Three of the city’s milliners – Amanda Moon, Siobhan Nicholson and Sophie Cooke - have teamed up to run the shop, and will be showcasing their new collections of hats and fascinators.

The milliners will be on hand throughout June to give advice on choosing the right hat, as well as offering consultations for bespoke creations.

The Hat Stand will be taking part in Style Sheffield from the 1 – 8 June, by hosting a launch party on 1 June and staying open late until 6:30pm on 8 June.

Amanda of Amanda Moon Headwear said: “I'm so glad we're back again. We meet so many fantastic people who enjoy and are intrigued by our headwear and it’s just lots of good fun.”

The ladies hope that with the season of weddings, races and other hat-worthy events coming up, people will take advantage of the opportunity to meet some of Sheffield’s creatives and get advice from the experts.

Siobhan of Siobhan Nicholson Millinery said: “The Hat Stand is a fantastic opportunity for us to reach people who just don’t know what is available from independent designers and makers.”

Throughout the rest of the year, the trio work independently, but come together in the summer and for special events to run The Hat Stand.

Sophie of Imogen’s Imagination said: “For lone workers like us, collaboration is key and I couldn’t wish for better collaborators. We each have different skills, experience and strengths, so by working together, we are a great team!”

Keep up with The Hat Stand online.

The Hat Stand will be open in the Winter Garden from 10:30am-4:30pm Tuesday – Saturday and 11am – 4pm Sunday from 1 – 29 June.
